Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your email address and basic profile information provided through Google OAuth authentication.

Session Content

We store the content of your council sessions, including the questions you submit and the AI-generated responses you receive. This data is associated with your account so you can access your session history.

Usage Data

We automatically collect certain usage information when you interact with the service, including pages visited, features used, session frequency, credit consumption, timestamps, and general device and browser information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and operate the AI Council service.
• Process your queries and deliver AI-generated responses.
• Manage your account, credits, and billing.
• Improve the quality, performance, and reliability of the service.
• Communicate with you about your account, service updates, and important notices.

3. Third-Party Services

We work with the following third-party service providers to deliver AI Council:

Stripe

We use Stripe to process credit purchases and manage billing. When you make a purchase, your payment information is collected and processed directly by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card details on our servers. Stripe's use of your data is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.

OpenRouter

We use OpenRouter to access various AI models that power council sessions. The content of your queries is transmitted to OpenRouter and the underlying AI model providers in order to generate responses. OpenRouter's use of your data is governed by the OpenRouter Privacy Policy.

Google OAuth

We use Google OAuth for authentication. When you sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile information (name and email address) from Google. Google's use of your data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

4. Data Retention

Your council sessions are stored indefinitely unless you choose to delete them. You can delete individual sessions at any time through the AI Council interface.

If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information and session data from our active systems. Some information may be retained in backups for a limited period or as required by law.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you, including your session history and account information.
• Delete your individual sessions at any time through the service.
• Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us or using account management features.
• Export your session data upon request.

6. Cookies

AI Council uses session cookies that are essential for authentication and maintaining your logged-in state. These cookies are strictly necessary for the service to function and are not used for advertising or tracking purposes.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking technologies.

7. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

AI Council is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
